Enrolment Conditions
All
students must sign an enrolment form before the commencement
of any lessons. If the student is under the age of 18 years,
the enrolment form must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Please download your enrolment form and present it to your
teacher at your first lesson.
You
are required to sign this form prior to the commencement of
your lessons. If you are under the age of 18 a parent or guardian
must sign this form.
1.
All students must purchase a copy of the required syllabus
upon enrolment - ‘How to improve, understand and master
your vocal instrument’ which includes 2 CDs. The cost
is listed on the enrolment form. No refunds are available
after purchase.

Monthly tuition fees are to be paid in advance by the FIRST
lesson of the month. Most months will be 4 weeks with a number
of months being 5 weeks. Lessons are not held on public holidays.
3.
UNATTENDED LESSONS CANNOT BE CARRIED OVER INTO THE NEXT MONTHLY
TERM.
Regular lesson attendance ensures you will progress to the
best of your ability. If a private lesson is missed a make-up
lesson can be allocated for another time agreeable to both
parties. Make-up lessons do not apply to missed group classes.
4.
A MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS NOTICE IS REQUIRED TO RESCHEDULE PRIVATE
LESSONS (with the exception of sudden illness or emergency).
IT IS COMMON COURTESY TO PHONE THE STUDIO ON THE NUMBER GIVEN
ABOVE IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND A LESSON FOR WHATEVER REASON. When
lessons are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice a make-up
lesson will not be allocated.
5.
Students are requested to bring sheet music or backing CDs
to every lesson. (Backing CDs do not have vocals on them.)
Due to copyright laws, photocopies cannot be handed out at
lessons.
6.
Students are requested to make audio recordings of their lessons.
The student is responsible for supplying their own cassette
tapes to record their lessons.
7.
Non-payment of outstanding term fees will be regarded as theft.
The student will be responsible for payment of any legal fees
involved in the collection of any outstanding lesson fees.
8.
Students are not entitled to any refunds on term fees for
any reason after the commencement of a term. (Refunds may
be considered in the event of serious accident or illness
which prevents the student from continuing lessons.) A copy
of our refund policy provided by Consumer Affairs Victoria
is displayed within our studio.
9.
Offensive or threatening behaviour is not tolerated within
the Academy and will result in expulsion.
