WHAT
QUALITIES ARE YOU LOOKING FOR IN APPLICANTS?
You
will already have achieved a high level of skill as a contemporary
OR classical singer. You will need good piano/keyboard
skills and you must be over the age of eighteen. Our equal
opportunity policy also recognizes the need for teachers
who are prepared to help students of all ages, races and walks
of life. Therefore great people skills and verbal
communicationskills are essential.
All
applicants will also need a room in their dwelling suitable
for use as a teaching studio.
WHAT
WILL I LEARN DURING TRAINING?
During
your comprehensive training program you will be immersed in
all aspects of the singing training program, how to successfully
run a business and delivering exceptional customer service.
The times have changed. Education is big business these days
but people expect big results. Nobody wants to waste time and
money on ineffective or outdated vocal training. We understand
our customers and we firmly believe that if you can't guarantee
your product or service then you shouldn't be in business.
We're committed to providing the highest standard of vocal
coaching in the the industry. We therefore require all franchisees
to complete a 4 week training program.
In addition to this program, it is necessary for all participants
to study and practice outside class hours.
A
detailed program outline will be available once your application
is accepted.
Flexibility
of study time is available.
All
components of the franchisee training program including
weekly tests must be completed to obtain your certification
and registration.

ALREADY A SINGING TEACHER - DO I GET RECOGNITION OF
PRIOR LEARNING (RPL)?
If you're already a singing teacher that's fantastic! It's
obvious that you've got huge commitment and discipline
to have achieved your current level of talent.
We understand that the experience you've gained is invaluable
and will help make for a smooth transition to a Dreamquest
VoicePower coach. We welcome private singing teachers
and those who are teaching with other schools.

THREE
EASY STEPS TO GET STARTED
You must be prepared to work a minimum of 18 hours
per week in your own Dreamquest business after graduation.
We'd like you tell us about yourself on the expression

We will then contact you for the following;

Audition
(singing and piano)
References
A
comprehensive written application will then be required by
applicants after this stage. Distance candidates are entitled
to audition by way of demo CD/cassette tape.
HOW
MUCH DOES IT COST AND HOW MUCH CAN I EXPECT TO EARN?
COMMISSION PAYABLE Royalty 7%
Advertising levy 3%
Potential earnings will be discussed at the initial
interview.
TERM
OF AGREEMENT
5
years with option to renew.
PAYMENT A
deposit of $1000 is required when you submit your full written
application. Upon acceptance as a Dreamquest franchisee
the remainder must be paid prior to commencement of training.
If you change your mind after the inital application process,
we will refund your deposit minus any expenses applicable on
our behalf. Please note there is also a cooling off period of
7 days after you have paid the balance.
DISCLOSURE DOCUMENT By law we are required to provide potential franchisees
with a disclosure document. This document provides information
to help the prospective franchisee to make a reasonably informed
decision about purchasing a Dreamquest franchise.
SUPPORT AND EQUIPMENT
Includes all music equipment, 200+ page operations manual, teaching
manuals, reference books, all required business stationery,
training CDs, wall posters, Start Up Kit, training seminars,
onsite support visits, protected territory, advertising, ongoing
singing coaching and continuing support from head office.

HAPPENS WHEN I FINISH MY TRAINING AND GRADUATE?
Congratulations! You will now be eager to start work in your
own business. As Dreamquest is totally committed to
